The European Commission approved the international educational project Module Jean Monnet 101127263 - EU-Crimjcoop - ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH "Criminal policy and judicial cooperation with the EU", the creation of a special training course dedicated to criminal policy of the EU, its key schemes, principles, and basic concepts.

Congratulations to the working group of the project (the head of the working group is a Professor of Law, Coordinator of the Post-Graduation Program in Legal Science and Lecturer of Constitutional Law at the School of Law, General Attorney in UENP - Fernando de Brito Alves, the project coordinator is a Visiting Professor, Doctor of Law - Slinko Dmytro; members of the working group: Doctor of Criminal Law, Professor, Director of the Jacarezinho Campus at UENP - Luiz Fernando Kazmierczak; Professor of Law, Ph.D., Professor at UENP, Visiting Researcher at the University of Glasgow - Jairo Néia Lima) with the victory in the international project competition under the Jean Monnet Module program and receiving funding from the European Commission of the EU.

"EU-Crimjcoop" is based on the idea of the cooperation with EU for strengthening international security which cannot be achieved without implementing the European criminal law policy and legal standards and values, without harmonizing the Brazilian criminal law and criminal procedure law with the EU. “EU-Crimjcoop” highlights the history of the development the European criminal policy from the conventions of the Council of Europe till the present time, underlining that "The EU Criminal policy", consisting of many legal texts and judicial practice, is mobile enough, and has only been increasing in recent decades. "EU-Crimjcoop" allows students to comprehend the complicated general scientific and special methods that are used in the legal science of the EU, focusing on its main features. The course is directed to clarify the main institutional elements of the EU legal order. It analyses the origin and evolution of the European integration process; the division of competencies between the EU and the Member States; Union institutions and their acts; the EU judicial system, etc.

A Comissão Europeia aprovou o projeto educacional internacional Módulo Jean Monnet 101127263 - EU-Crimjcoop - ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH "Política criminal e cooperação judiciária com a União Europeia", que prevê a criação de um curso especial dedicado à política criminal da União Europeia, seus principais esquemas, princípios e conceitos básicos.

Parabéns ao grupo de trabalho do projeto (chefe do grupo de trabalho: Professor de Direito, Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Jurídica e Professor de Direito Constitucional da Faculdade de Direito, Procurador-Geral da UENP – Fernando de Brito Alves; coordenador do projeto: Professor Visitante, Doutor em Direito – Slinko Dmytro; membros do grupo de trabalho: Doutor em Direito Penal, Professor, Diretor do Campus de Jacarezinho da UENP – Luiz Fernando Kazmierczak; Professor de Direito, Ph.D., Professor da UENP, Pesquisador Visitante na Universidade de Glasgow – Jairo Néia Lima) pela vitória no concurso internacional de projetos no âmbito do programa Módulo Jean Monnet e pela obtenção de financiamento da Comissão Europeia da União Europeia.

O "EU-Crimjcoop" baseia-se na ideia de cooperação com a União Europeia para o fortalecimento da segurança internacional, que não pode ser alcançado sem a implementação da política criminal europeia, dos padrões e valores jurídicos da UE, bem como sem a harmonização do direito penal e do processo penal brasileiro com o europeu.

O “EU-Crimjcoop” destaca a história do desenvolvimento da política criminal europeia desde as convenções do Conselho da Europa até os dias atuais, sublinhando que a “Política Criminal da União Europeia”, composta por numerosos textos jurídicos e pela prática judicial, é suficientemente dinâmica e vem se ampliando nas últimas décadas.

O “EU-Crimjcoop” permite que os estudantes compreendam os complexos métodos científicos gerais e específicos utilizados na ciência jurídica da União Europeia, com foco em suas principais características. O curso é direcionado a esclarecer os principais elementos institucionais da ordem jurídica da UE. Analisa a origem e a evolução do processo de integração europeia; a divisão de competências entre a União e os Estados-Membros; as instituições da União e seus atos; o sistema judiciário da UE, entre outros aspectos.

The "Criminal Policy and Judicial Cooperation with EU" ("EU-Crimjcoop") is an introduction to the EU criminal law policy, its crucial outlines, principles, and basic concepts, the course inspires an interest in the EU and internal reforms. "EU-Crimjcoop" is aimed at promoting European modern values and expanding knowledge of the EU criminal law policy. "EU-Crimjcoop" is based on the idea of the cooperation with EU to strengthen international security which cannot be achieved without implementing the European criminal law policy and legal standards and values, without harmonizing the Brazilian criminal law and criminal procedure law with the EU. “EU-Crimjcoop” highlights the history of the of development the European criminal policy from the conventions of the Council of Europe till the present time, underlining that "The EU Criminal policy", consisting of many legal texts and judicial practice, is mobile enough, and has only been increasing in recent decades. "EU-Crimjcoop" will be taught to students majoring in "Law" and "International Law" in the 2nd-5rd year of the Law Faculty. The course consists of 56 classroom hours: 32 hours of lectures and 24 seminars. It is planned to cover an audience of more than 320 students during 3 years of the implementation of the Module. At the end of the course, students should know the main provisions of the "EU criminal law policy" and the problems associated with their implementation in Brazil.

A disciplina “Política Criminal e Cooperação Judicial com a UE” (“EU-Crimjcoop”) é uma introdução à política penal da UE, seus contornos essenciais, princípios e conceitos básicos, e estimula o interesse pela UE e pelas reformas internas. A disciplina “EU-Crimjcoop” visa promover os valores modernos europeus e ampliar o conhecimento sobre a política penal da UE. O curso “EU-Crimjcoop” baseia-se na ideia de cooperação com a UE para fortalecer a segurança internacional, o que não pode ser alcançado sem a implementação da política penal europeia e dos padrões e valores jurídicos, sem a harmonização do direito penal e do processo penal brasileiros com a UE. O curso “EU-Crimjcoop” destaca a história do desenvolvimento da política penal europeia, desde as convenções do Conselho da Europa até o presente, ressaltando que a “política penal da UE”, composta por muitos textos jurídicos e práticas judiciais, é bastante dinâmica e tem crescido nas últimas décadas. O curso “EU-Crimjcoop” permite aos alunos compreender os complexos métodos científicos gerais e especiais utilizados na ciência jurídica da UE, com foco nas suas principais características. O curso visa esclarecer os principais elementos institucionais da ordem jurídica da UE. “EU-Crimjcoop” será ministrado a alunos do curso de Direito e Direito Internacional do 2º ao 5º ano da Faculdade de Direito. O curso consiste em 56 horas letivas: 32 horas de aulas teóricas e 24 horas de seminários. Está previsto que o módulo abranja mais de 320 alunos durante os 3 anos de implementação. No final do curso, os alunos deverão conhecer as principais disposições da “política penal da UE” e os problemas associados à sua implementação no Brasil.
